The Orthopedics and Trauma Center – Military Hospital 175 is one of the 5 hospitals under the Project 125 “Investment in the construction of 05 new hospitals, central and terminal level institutes located in Ho Chi Minh City” approved by the Prime Minister’s Investment Decision. With a total investment of over 2,200 billion VND and a scale of 500 beds, the Orthopedics and Trauma Center – Military Hospital 175 is built as a complete hospital with high technical expertise, meeting the demand for trauma and orthopedic treatment in the region. Especially, this is also the only medical unit in Vietnam with a helipad, making it a multi-purpose emergency center for road, waterway, and river rescue operations, and particularly for medical work on islands and seas. After being put into operation, the Center will also serve as a training center, technology transfer, scientific research, and international cooperation.
